Several Top Prospects Set To Visit LSU This Fall

Published

on

The fall months are typically extremely busy for coaching staffs across the country. They have to balance preparing for the upcoming season with continuing to recruit their top high school targets. No one understands this balance better than LSU, who has a very important month of September looming. A source within the program confirmed dates for several top high school players set to visit Baton Rouge in the coming month.

LSU Visit Schedule

Billy Richmond (6’6″ wing – #33 class of 2024) — September 8-10

Rakease Passmore (6’5′ guard – #49 class of 2024) — September 22-24

Nic Codie (6’8″ big – #57 class of 2024) — September 22-24

Ryan Jones, Jr. (6’8″ big – #65 class of 2024) — September 22-24

Mikey Lewis (6’3″ guard – #61 class of 2024) — September 23-24

Micah Robinson (6’7″ wing – #92 class of 2024) — September 23-24

Pharaoh Compton (6’7″ big – #85 class of 2024) — October 14-15

LSU had 6’3” guard Curtis Givens III on campus earlier this month. Givens is currently ranked #54 in the class of 2024. Georgia Tech, Indiana, Memphis and Texas are also in the mix there.

6’4” guard Vyctorius Miller is planning a visit to LSU in the fall, but hasn’t set an official date yet. Miller is ranked #44 in the class of 2024.

What Does This Mean for LSU?

I expect LSU to land two or three of these guys, while adding a few players from the transfer portal to round out their 2024 recruiting class. LSU has a large NIL base, so it should not be difficult for the staff to turn things around. Combined with Givens’ visit in August, LSU will have six top 70 prospects in the class of 2024 on campus. This is a sign that head coach Matt McMahon is beginning to establish momentum in the recruiting sphere.
