Yesterday’s Recap
Couldn’t have scripted the EIU/Kansas game any better. We’re quickly nearing December basketball, where high major teams play mid-majors in empty arenas across the country and sleep walk their way to an uncomfortable pre-Christmas win. We’ll take advantage of that spot with a few bets over the course of month.
Eastern Illinois +38.5 vs. Kansas ✅
Nicholls State +26.5 vs. Baylor ❌
Purdue -31.5 vs. Texas Southern ✅
Overall record: 26-28-3

St. Joe’s/Villanova Over 141
Two top-35 teams in three-pointers made per game. St. Joe’s is 4th in the country in attempts per game and Villanova’s defense is 40th in attempts per game allowed. Both teams are launching them tonight and we think they make a few in a game that might be closer than the experts think.
Bellarmine +5.5 vs. Louisville
Auto-fade is back. Bellarmine won this game last year and their style of play is a nightmare for Louisville’s defense. If Bellarmine can make shots, they can win outright.
Arkansas +4.5 vs. Duke
Bounce back spot for the Hogs at home. This is Duke’s first true road game of the year and it’s a freaking doozy. The Bud Walton crowd should help keep the home team within the number.
Virginia ML vs. Texas A&M
General principle game – shoutout SVP. The unranked team is the favorite over the ranked team. Take the moneyline.
Grand Canyon -13.5 vs. UT Rio Grande Valley
Back to the well with Grand Canyon. It’s a road game, but UTRGV is 0-5 against D1 opponents with an average margin of defeat of 22.8 points. GCU is one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the country and UTRGV gives up a ton of o-boards. Lay the points.
