Saint Louis landed a commitment from Portland transfer Mike Meadows on Wednesday.
Meadows averaged 11.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 21 games for the Pilots last season. He missed time early in the season due to a hamstring injury.
Meadows originally entered the transfer portal in March and committed to Cal on May 1. On August 6, he reopened his recruitment again. Saint Louis recruited him during both stints in the portal and their persistence finally paid off.
Meadows fills the last open spot on the Billikens’ roster. He provides another scoring threat to pair with Gibson Jimerson and Tulsa grad transfer Tim Dalger. This addition shores up the backcourt after the departure of star point guard Yuri Collins. Saint Louis is looking to get back to the tournament for the first time since 2019.
