Today’s Bets

Western Michigan +23.5 vs. Northwestern

Western Michigan was surprisingly competitive against high major opponents last season. They lost by one to Minnesota, by 16 to Iowa State and by 10 to Wisconsin. We think 23.5 is too much here, especially against a Northwestern team that doesn’t want to push the pace and crank up the possessions. Take the points.

Iowa +12.5 vs. Creighton

We love Creighton. They’re awesome and they’ll probably win this game, but not by 13 points. Iowa is just too good offensively. The total is absurdly high at 162.5 and it still might go over! A back door cover is still a cover. We stand with Fran.

Texas A&M -5.5 vs. SMU

This line feels like a trap, which it probably is. But TAMU just went on the road and beat a talented Ohio State team. Buzz Williams and his crew have a different mindset this year and I think that’ll translate against an in-state foe. Lay the points with the road favorite.

Alcorn State/Arkansas State Under 154.5
