Yesterday’s Recap

Well. Yesterday was Horrendous. Capital H. I watched Michigan State lose in person. Florida missed by the hook. Butler had the number early in the second half and let up. Providence forgot how to score for over 10 minutes in the second half. We had a nice four-game cushion over .500 and now we’re only one up on the number. So it goes. Back to the well with today’s bets.

Michigan State -4.5 vs. Wisconsin ❌

Princeton -7.5 vs. Drexel ✅

Florida -20.5 vs. Merrimack ❌

Butler -24.5 vs. Buffalo ❌

Providence +5.5 vs Oklahoma ❌

Overall record: 37-36-3

Hofstra -2.5 vs. Iona

Hofstra has Tyler Thomas, a man who can go for 30 any night he wants. They also have Darlinstone Dubar. A great name and another man who can go for 30 any night he wants. I don’t think Iona has enough offensively to hang with the Pride here. Lay the points.

UMass -2.5 vs. Towson

We are once again fading Towson’s offense. These guys can’t score and they turn the ball over a ton. UMass is 30th in the country in turnover percentage and 5th in defensive 2p%, where Towson gets most of their points. Lay the points with the better offensive team.

South Carolina +8.5 vs. Clemson

I am the second biggest Clemson fan in the world behind Terrance Oglesby, but I think this is too many points in a rivalry game where both teams are playing well. South Carolina shoots it well enough from three that they can hang around in this one.
